Pineville Elementary School serves 140 students, kindergarten to sixth grade. It offers its students a state of the art learning environment with Internet access in all classrooms so students can become part of the global society. Classrooms have computers for students to use during the school day for class activities and enrichment. Students have access to a fully automated Library Media Center with a wide range of Accelerated Reader books. The Computer Lab is available for full class use . A variety of educational programs provide students with a  wealth of  opportunity to excel and achieve. Teachers are able to fully meet student needs with data warehousing resources developed by district personnel. These resources allow teachers to profile the past performance of a student and better meet the specific needs of the individual student.

We are coming to the end of another great year at Pineville Elementary.  We had 100% of our third graders pass the Gateway Test to fourth grade.

The AR party for the last grading period will be on Wednesday, Field Day will be Thursday, and Kindergarten Graduation (9:30 a.m.) and Awards (10 a.m.) for K-6 will be on Friday.

Below is a suggested list for summer pleasure reading.  These are not mandatory to be completed during the summer and the titles will also be available for check out in the library when school begins in August.
